The Perfidious Mister Wickham - Week 9

Click the Cover for the story to date
Nine weeks into the experimental publishing project that is The Perfidious Mister Wickham, and you might notice the format has changed just slightly!

Looking to jump right into reading the complete text to date? Click here, or click on the image of the book cover! Looking to pop over to the latest chapter? Click here, or use the link to Chapter Eleven on the left-hand sidebar...

But, if you have a moment to spare before indulging your literary sensibilities, I'd like to share with you a little bit about how the project is going. My real job (like Wickham, I'm a military officer) is keeping me very busy, but I'm finding the time to research and write a chapter a week, spurred on by the knowledge that readers like you are looking forward to the next installment of the story! So, thank you for providing the motivation to move this project forward.

Speaking of projects are just 23 days left to pledge your support of our Kickstarter project! Right now, we've raised about 2% of the $4000 needed to cover the costs of professional editing and cover art, to create an initial run of 200 books to give out as rewards for project backers, etc... So, please consider making a donation if you're enjoying this novel!

This blog is a new addition to this page, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, or anything else related to this project. I just did an interview today with Dr. Laurence Raw, who is compiling an anthology entitled "Global Jane Austen", and I'm looking forward to doing other interviews - when those happen, of course I'll post links here.

Well, back to the writing... Wishing you all a very good week, and will look forward to welcoming you back again next week for another chapter in Wickham's saga.

p.s. Looking for Chapters 6-8? They're available in the new short fiction A Matter of Honor - yours FREE with any donation of $10.00 or more or available directly from Amazon for the Kindle for 99¢, 0.75£, or 0.80€... As always, you can click here to learn more about this project and the authoror click this link for comments or questions about the project in general!
